Cover Notes: This is technically not a break-up album, but it's also not not a break-up album. This is Albertine, carrying the flame of a bright love that - at the moment - doesn't have a home. 'The outcome is an album heavier and more brooding than The Sticky Fingers. I experimented a lot with different singing styles. Sometimes I'm close and intimate with the microphone; other times I am belting it out. I always recorded my vocals alone, often at night, in our shared studio space in a very unattractive suburb of Berlin'.
