Cover Notes: Voice of the Beehive's second album. 1991's 'Honey Lingers', saw the UK/US pop-rock band build further on their signature mix of jangly guitars, upbeat rhythms, and melodic pop hooks, edging closer to a glossier, more mainstream sound. Working with producers such as Don Was, Hugh Jones and Alan Tarney, its three singles all broke the UK Top 40, with lead single 'Monsters and Angels' gaining significant airplay on US College Radio, reaching #8 on the US Modern Rock chart. London Records are re-issuing this alternative-pop classic, remastered and pressed on limited edition coloured vinyl and a 2CD set containing alternative mixes and acoustic and live tracks.
